The area around lake Conroe is also something of a resort site, so you may find lake houses and such to rent as a group. The zip code for Jess's family land is 77303, so you might want to use that as your center for searching.

Any of these options will require renting or bringing a car: there is no public transit in this area, and we aren't anticipating the party bus making a stop at any of these locations.
Another option is staying in Houston, which will provide ample sightseeing and entertainment while you're in town. This will also give you the opportunity to take the party bus up to the site of the wedding.
(Note: out of town family who are planning on attending the family BBQ the day of the wedding won't find that the party bus will get them there in time.)
If you stay in Houston, the zip code where the party bus will pick up passengers is 77006, and we dare say, it's the most fun zip code in Houston anyway! So you might think of starting your search there. If you use yelp, you'll find a few small B&B's in this area, and larger hotels short taxi or bus rides away.
